What do the app's tracking and rewards mean?
You saw streaks, coins and a tracking label, and want to know what they mean.

Two different things are called tracking around this app. One is progress tracking, such as streaks. The other is a label in the store’s privacy section. This page keeps them apart and tells you what the sources say, and what they leave out.
What do streaks and rewards mean in the listing?
The App Store listing describes streaks, milestones and rewards, with stats for total meditation minutes and current streak. The version notes say a Rewards Store with coins was announced in one version1.
Isha Foundation’s own page says users earn badges and coins as they progress, and lists partner brands under a collaborations section that invites users to earn rewards from them2. That is the provider’s own description.
What is not stated about rewards?
The sources we read do not say what a reward is worth, which brands are involved in Malaysia, or whether any reward needs an account or personal details. We will not guess. Treat each of these as unknown until the app or the provider says.
If a reward ever asks for your IC number, bank details or other private information, stop and read the provider’s policy first.
What does tracking mean in the privacy section?
The App Store privacy section is declared by the developer, not checked by us. It lists identifiers and usage data as data used to track you, and lists other groups of data as linked or not linked to you3.
This is a short label, not the full story. The privacy policy holds the detail, and we could not read its text. Our guide on website privacy and app privacy shows how to read the two side by side.
Try this: a calm reading in a few minutes
Do it when you are not rushed, with the store page open.
- Find the lines about streaks and rewards in the description.
- Note which ones you would use, and which you would ignore.
- Open the privacy section and read the three groups of data.
- Ask yourself one question: am I comfortable with this for a seven-minute practice?
- If you are unsure, write your question for the provider and wait for an answer before installing.
What if streaks make me feel pressured?
Some people find that a counter turns a calm moment into a task. That is a fair reason to choose a different tool.
A printable practice tracker lets you mark days at your own pace on paper, and the listing’s reminder features are covered in our guide on reminder and duration settings. If the numbers make you anxious more broadly, our support page lists where to start.
Fitting this into a real day
A seven-minute practice has to survive a busy Tuesday, a late shift and a noisy flat. Whatever counts your days, the day you skip is still part of the practice.
If you choose to try the app, look at the streak as a record and not a duty. If you choose not to, nothing on this site is lost. The same practice can live on a paper tracker stuck on the fridge, next to the family calendar.
Where to go next
For an overview of the app, read what the official sources describe. To see how the offer is read, try how we check whether it is free. Everything is gathered in our Miracle of Mind guides.
If you would like a voice to guide a short sit, Sadhguru’s free seven-minute guided meditation in the Miracle of Mind app is optional, and you can keep score or not.
Common questions
Are streaks and rewards required?
No source we read says you must use them. The listing describes them as features. Whether you can ignore them in the app is something to check on your own phone, and skipping a day is a normal part of any practice.
What do the coins and badges buy?
The sources describe coins and badges as progress markers and mention partner brands, but do not say what rewards are worth or whether they are available in Malaysia. Treat that as unknown until the app or the provider tells you.
Does tracking in the privacy section mean someone watches me meditate?
The label lists data used to track you across other companies' apps and sites, as declared by the developer. It does not describe your meditation in detail. Read the provider's privacy policy for exact wording, and write to the provider with questions.
Can I use the app without caring about streaks?
A streak is a counter and not a rule, but we have not tested the app, so check on your own phone. If streak pressure bothers you, a plain timer or a paper tracker is a calm alternative.
