Job hunting

Fitting MYFutureJobs support into a job-search routine

You are applying everywhere and need a routine that does not eat your whole day.

An open book, a notebook and a cup of tea on a reading table.

A job search can fill every hour you give it. A small routine around one trusted portal keeps it from taking over your day.

Blissful has no partnership with MYFutureJobs. This guide reads its public page with you and then builds a routine.

What does the official site say it offers?

The home page lists job search, career counselling and individual support, and free support services for all jobseekers1.

That is what the site says about itself. It does not tell you whether you will qualify for a particular service, or how quickly anyone will reply.

What should I confirm myself?

Use this short table.

Our guide on finding Malaysian employment-support information covers how to compare sources.

Try this: a calm daily search block

  1. Pick a start and a stop time, for example 9 am to 10 am, and put it in your phone.
  2. Open the portal first, before any social media post about jobs.
  3. Save two or three roles that fit, and apply to the best one properly.
  4. Note one question for a career counsellor, if the service suits you.
  5. Stop at your stop time, even if the list is not finished.

What about forwarded job posts?

Treat an undated post as a lead, not a fact. Check the role on an official or company page before you send documents. Read choosing a verified resource instead of an undated social post for a quick method.

Never pay to apply, and be careful with your IC number and bank details until you are sure who you are talking to.

How do I cope with the waiting and the rejections?

Silence is hard, and it is not a verdict on you. Keep your evenings for ordinary things: dinner, a walk, a call to a friend.

If worry about work is getting heavy, or you feel hopeless, please see our support page. Talking to someone is a good idea.

Where to go next

For boundaries around work time, see work boundaries and ending the workday. The wider topic is in everyday life and local resources in Malaysia.

After you stop for the day, Sadhguru’s free 7-minute guided meditation in the Miracle of Mind app is an optional way to switch off.

Common questions

Is Blissful connected to MYFutureJobs?

No. Blissful is independent and has no partnership with MYFutureJobs or any agency. We read the public site and point to it so you can check the official wording yourself. We do not place anyone in a job.

Can I use MYFutureJobs on my phone?

We can only confirm what the official site says, and we did not test it on a phone. Open the site on your own device and check that the pages you need load and are readable before you plan around it.

How much job searching is enough in a day?

There is no right number. Choose a fixed block, such as one hour in the morning, and a stopping time. A job search that never ends tends to leave you more tired. Rest is part of the plan, not a reward at the end of it.
